Dakshin is embarking on an online fundraising effort towards providing more focused support specifically for more than 3000 families in distress in two states of India viz, Odisha and Tamil Nadu. This will be done in close partnerships with organisations who already have a very strong presence in these sites. We understand that ensuring relief reaches the deserving families and being sensitive to existing inequalities within these communities will be a daunting task. We are relying on the knowledge of our partners and will work closely with them to identify such families within the community and ensure that help reaches the deserving families.
